ESP32-WROVER-KIT is an ideal evaluation and development system solution that integrates all the components necessary to develop applications with using the high-performance ESP32 SoC. This module integrates many on-board peripherals and features which can be divided into two parts: ESP32MOD module and the development board. The ESP32MOD module includes an ESP32 SoC, a single-sided PCB antenna, a connector for external antenna, U.FL connector and several peripheral IC\'s. It has an on-board power system consisting of a lithium battery charger, a voltage regulator, and a power switch. The ESP32MOD also includes two capacitive touch sensors, as well as several LED\'s, which can be used for debugging or indication purposes.The ESP32MOD module can operate in various modes, such as Standby, Deep-Sleep, and Idle. The Standby mode is mainly used for temporarily powering the device when its main power supply is off. In Deep-Sleep mode, the device operates at a much lower power level by shutting down most of the peripherals and only enabling the RTC and radio. In Idle mode, the device will remain active and enter power saving mode after a certain period of time without receiving signals.The development board also provides redundant power supply options, which includes a Micro USB Type-C interface, LiPo battery port, DC power jack, and RTC battery port. It also has an on-board debug interface, allowing us to easily debug the firmware running on the ESP32 SoC. The integrated CP2102 chip can be used to connect the ESP32 SoC to a computer via UART communication.The ESP32-WROVER-KIT can also be used for network development. It supports both WiFi and Bluetooth connection. The integrated Wi-Fi transceiver supports modes such as station, softAP, and Wi-Fi Direct, which can be used for different applications depending on user needs. For example, station mode can be used to connect to public hotspots while the softAP mode can be used to create a local network for home usage. Bluetooth support is provided via a built-in module, allowing two-way communication between the device and a host device such as a computer or a smartphone.The ESP32-WROVER-KIT can also be used for evaluating various features of the ESP32 SoC.
