Thermoelectric (TE) modules are widely used in many different applications due to their ability to directly convert heat energy into electrical energy. The TE module is composed of two sides, one hot side and one cold side, connected to an electrical circuit which controls the temperature difference between the two sides. The TE module usually consists of an array of thermoelectric couples, called a Peltier element, sandwiched between two metal plates or heat sinks, and an electrical current is passed through the element from one side to the other, producing a cooling or heating effect at the junction between the two plates.

The ET2.0-18-F2A thermoelectric module is a high performance Peltier module used in a wide range of applications.
