Thermoelectric modules are a class of devices that transfer thermal energy into electrical energy. The ET2.0-62-F3 is one such module whose purpose is to cool electronic components. It is designed for relatively large loads and works by pumping heat at one end while drawing heat from the other. This results in a localised temperature difference, allowing the module to achieve temperatures as low as -15°C and as high as 120°C depending on the heat flux.
