RF Evaluation and Development Kits, BoardsEV BT832F is an RF Evaluation and Development board which provides an advanced active metamaterial-based broadband absorber together with an embedded 8-bit AVR microcontroller. This development board is targeted for applications such as test, characterization and performance evaluation. It is designed to cater the needs of a wide range of wireless experimentations and testings under a controlled environment.The EV BT832F board features an unusual combination of a 0.5 - 18GHz active metamaterial broadband absorber, an 8-bit Atmel AVR Microcontroller, and a set of advanced analog resources such as 10 analog amplifiers and 8 analog filters. This board provides a robust platform to evaluate and characterize the performance of wireless devices in an accurate and controlled environment. The board can also be used for rapid prototyping and development of various types of wireless applications.The broad-spectrum absorber, or the “black body”, can successfully absorb electromagnetic radiation in the 0.5 - 18GHz frequency range. This feature of the board is not available on any other development board, making it a unique and versatile evaluation tool. Furthermore, the absorbent material in the board shields the device under test from external RF sources, ensuring that no unnecessary interference or noise is coupled into the measuring path. This makes it an even more reliable and efficient tool for RF performance evaluation.The 8-bit AVR microcontroller in the board helps it to interact with other components and devices in a wireless environment. This microcontroller features 32kbyte of Flash memory, 1024 bytes of EEPROM, and 512 bytes of SRAM. These features make the board highly suitable for development and evaluation of application protocols such as ZigBee, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Wifi.
