The EV BT832XE is a high-performance, multi-mode Bluetooth Low Energy RF transceiver evaluation board with an integrated power amplifier (PA). It is an ideal platform for the development of Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled devices as it allows users to evaluate the performance of the latest Bluetooth Low Energy protocol stack and develop their own applications.
The EV BT832XE is based on the integrated and pre-certified BT832XE transceiver. It is suitable for implementing users’ own applications as it integrates a range of important radio resources, such as an on-board antenna, RF power amplifier (PA), baluns, pre-calibrated filters, and a shutdown strand. It also includes on-board memory for saving users’ firmware, configurations, and test data. The integrated Bluetooth Low Energy protocol stack supports both GAP and GATT, two of the most widely used protocols in Bluetooth Low Energy systems.
The EV BT832XE is a cost-effective tool for RF evaluation and development. It supports various test modes including receive sensitivity, transmitter power, output power vs. modulation accuracy, and RSSI. The on-board memory enables users to store detailed trace data for post analysis as well as to monitor the effects of various parameters on the performance of the device. The working principle of the EV BT832XE is based on the principle of transceiver.
