Working Principle

The working principle of the EV200ARANA power relay is based on the concept of contact cascade. When energized, the system closes the circuit between the two contact blocks. The figure below shows how the relay works. The left side of the relay features two contact blocks. When the relay is energized, the two contact blocks close open circuits and then open them when the contact blocks are reset. The system then returns to its original open circuit state.When the circuit is closed, the current flowing through the contact blocks creates a magnetic field which acts on the armature and moves it to create a mechanical force that closes the contacts. The contact blocks then stay in this closed state until either the electric or manual control inputs a reset signal. The reset signal causes the armature to release the constant contact blocks, which then open the circuit and the relay returns to its original off state.The EV200ARANA power relay is also equipped with a reset coils. When the contact blocks are closed, this coil maintains the contact blocks at their closed position. Upon resetting, the reset coil releases the contact blocks which allows them to open, thus returning the relay to its off state.
