Evaluation Boards - Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs)The EVAL-AD4000FMCZ is an evaluation board (EVB) for evaluating device performance, features, and layout of a newly developed Analogue to Digital Converter. This EVB is designed and manufactured by Analog Devices, Inc. It is used for various industrial applications and can be used in automobile, scientific research and industrial control applications.Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is a leader in providing high performance and cost-effective digital signal processing solutions for applications ranging from automotive to consumer electronics. The EVAL-AD4000FMCZ EVB is an engineered, full production-ready platform that allows customers to evaluate the features and performance of the AD4000FMCZ 12-bit Analogue to Digital Converter (ADC). The AD4000FMCZ ADC is a low power, multi-range, single-ended, 12-bit, analogue-to-digital converter. The ADC provides a wide range of features, including an internal or external sample and hold, a 16-bit base and an adjustable reference voltage. It has a conversion rate of 1MHz and is available in a variety of package options. The EVB includes all the necessary components and schematic, data sheet, and design files for evaluation and development. The EVB includes an on-board MCU (STM32F103) that enables a direct connection to the ADC via USB or Ethernet. The on-board MCU runs the control software, which can be used to configure the ADC, determine the resolution of the ADC, measure the sampling rate, take measurements, and conduct tests. The control software also\'s a graphical user interface (GUI), which allows users to graphically display the ADC output. In addition to the EVB, the AD4000FMCZ ADC evaluation board includes a set of accessories: an EP3C16F484C6 development board (EPQA), a demo program, and a CD with a variety of application notes and documents.
