The EVAL-AD5683RSDZ is a versatile evaluation board used to develop and test digital to analog (DAC) converters. It is designed with a high-resolution, 16-bit DAC allowing for precision operation when interfaced with microcontrollers and microprocessors.
The board is based on the AD5683R, a 16-bit unipolar DAC with SPI interface, featuring rail-to-rail output stage allowing for a wide range of output voltage. The DAC provides precision data conversion by allowing for a small output step size of ±32 mV. It has an SPI enabled serial interface which allows for quick and easy communication, and requires a single +3 V to +3.6 V supply. It also comes with adjustable power consumption and low power shutdown mode, and provides high precision data direction when interfaced with microcontrollers and microprocessors.
