This evaluation board supports several different modes of operation, including a single-axis version with selectable high resolution output, and a dual-axis version with full support for tilt and rotation sensing.The ADXRS800Z is an advanced self-test rate-gyro acceleration sensor which integrates high performance sensing capabilities with a low power digital signal processor (DSP) and a temperature compensated MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) sensing element. The board comes with a proprietary high-level design, to improve the overall performance and the sampling components. The sensing element of the ADXRS800Z is a precision gyroscope designed to provide precise and accurate measurements of the angular rate of the board. This gyro is designed to measure angular acceleration in the range of ±200°/sec (±200 rads/sec).The evaluation board includes a microcontroller, which provides the core program that controls the board. The evaluation board also supports user-defined data acquisition coverage.
