The EVAL-CN0343-EB1Z Evaluation Board is a complete single-ended signal chain development platform for the analog front end of the CN0343 optical turbidity sensor. It is equipped with both the sensor itself, as well as a wealth of supporting circuitry to reduce the time to market for turbidity applications, such as drinking water, wastewater, and other process monitoring. This evaluation board utilizes the CN0343 optical turbidity sensor to accurately measure the suspended particulate matter and total suspended solids (TSS) in liquids, which are also referred to as TSSs or turbidity. It also provides a widely adjustable measurement range, in which users can choose an operating measurement range via the selector which ranges from 0 to 4000 NTU.

The EVAL-CN0343-EB1Z Evaluation Board\'s primary use is for designs utilizing the CN0343 turbidity sensor in applications such as water and wastewater treatment, laboratory measurements, chemistry measurements, and surface water pollution monitoring. The board also provides a convenient way to explore the capabilities of the CN0343 turbidity sensor to ensure that the optimal performance is achieved in the design laboratory. This evaluation board was designed with easy to use features and connections that allow quick set up and evaluation of CN0343.

The EVAL-CN0343-EB1Z Evaluation Board is designed with power conditioning, signal conditioning, communication ports and power switching features. It is also provided with a number of control and measurement connections for the sensing analog front end of the CN0343. Additionally, the board can be powered from an external power supply, or from the included battery add-on board. The board is designed to provide a low noise power supply to the CN0343, while at the same time providing a stable and accurate measurement signal for the user.
