Working Principle

This action is called as Triggering; it is a process of using IF gate pulse to turn on the device.

When VGA between gate and anode is zero, the device turns off and it will start conducting when the voltage exceeds certain grade. This action is called as Holding; it is defined as a process of using the anode current to keep the device closed. In this phase, the current that flows through the F1857CCH400 is limited by the anode current.
