FAN501AMPX is a high-density, high-efficiency AC-DC converters manufactured by Intersil and designed for Telecom/Consumer/DataCom applications. The converter is designed to provide a wide range of high-performance, high-efficiency power supplies while meeting the stringent requirements of the telecom and data communications industries. The FAN501AMPX is available in an 15-pin SOIC package and is ideal for applications such as power over Ethernet (PoE) and power line communication (PLC).

The FAN501AMPX is a full bridge topology-based converter and is capable of providing up to 5A of output power at up to 48V. This converter is highly efficient with a peak efficiency of 94% and is capable of operating at temperatures up to 105℃. The converter includes integrated features such as over temperature protection (OTP) and overcurrent protection (OCP) to ensure reliable operation under fault conditions.

The FAN501AMPX converter has an input voltage range of up to 400VAC and an operating temperature range from -40 to 105 ℃.
