It is optimized for driving high-power LEDs at lower current levels than traditional PWM LED drivers, allowing for maximum light efficiency and longer LED life. It features a constant frequency PWM that eliminates audible noise and eliminates low-frequency flickering of the LED output. It also incorporates active current limiting and thermal shutdown protection, providing system robustness and improved LED life.The FAN5702UMP20X is designed to provide the maximum power efficiency while ensuring the proper operation of the LEDs. It uses a low-voltage differential sensing topology to accurately control the LED current. This topology eliminates the need for an external sense resistor, reducing system costs and improving power efficiency. The FAN5702UMP20X also features low quiescent current, enabling the use of smaller capacitors and inductors, further improving power efficiency.The FAN5702UMP20X is designed to provide LED dimming control via pulse width modulation.
