FAN5099M Working Principle

The FAN5099M is a multi-channel, linear and switching voltage regulator. It uses a combination of linear and switching techniques to regulate the output voltage, thus providing high accuracy, excellent line and load transient response, and fast turn-on and turn-off times.The FAN5099M features two independent linear regions that are adjustable from 1.2V to 6V. It also contains a high-efficiency low-dropout (LDO) output stage that is adjustable from 1.2V to 7V.
