FD3T002R is a new type of RF (Radio Frequency) Switch, designed to provide improved performance compared to the industry standard 2 pole SPDT switch. It is a small 2-pin, SMA coaxial switch with integrated logic, capable of switching between two frequency bands with a single output. The FD3T002R is an ideal solution for applications such as radio transceiver, base station and other communications systems.

The FD3T002R operates on the InGaP/GaAs HBT (High-electron Mobility Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor) process. It provides good isolation (>30dB) and excellent linearity (0.5dB typ.), making it a very reliable switch. The device is rated for continuous operation in the 0.1 to 3.0GHz frequency range and is capable of switching three modes: bypass (omni-directional), 2-way low-isolation (default) and 2-way high-isolation. The state of the switch can be controlled by the on-board logic which can be programmed to switch either manually or with external signals.
