FDSL024PC is a broadband multi-mode PROFIBUS interface for mission critical communication applications. It is used in radio frequency, non-radio and RS-485 formats and is a plug-and-play and cost effective solution for transitioning from older semi-legacy systems to the next generation of advanced communication networks. The FDSL024PC is a mission critical communication system which is highly customizable and has proven reliability.The FDSL024PC features a compact sub-D form factor with two RJ45s for connecting two PROFIBUS devices. The first RJ45 connects to the master device while the second one is used to connect multiple slaves. The two RJ45 are linked by a protocol controller which translates the commands of the master to the language understood by the slaves. The master side has S-configuration settings which help the user to configure the application parameters.The FDSL024PC works by transmitting data over a wide area network (WAN) using a reliable and secure form of communication. When transmitting data, the master device sends commands to the slave devices which in turn respond to those commands according to predefined application rules.
