FN02, also known as Fiber Network tester, is a sophisticated fiber network analysis and test instrument designed to meet all the needs of engineers for long-distance optical networks and local optical networks. It is mainly used for communication system test and maintenance, factory inspection and testing, fiber optical device production and the research of optical fiber application.

The instrument can also be used to detect any faults by measuring the reflection from the device at either end of the link. In passive mode, the instrument is used to measure the loss of the link without the need for any active components.
