FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors are electrical power supply control connector products which are designed for national and international standards. It is an inlet/outlet type connector for use in power supply assemblies, industrial power supply products, motorized vehicles, lighting systems, and motor controllers. FN261-10-06 offers consumer grade features due to its high quality materials and construction, allowing high-current flow with low connector profile.

The FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors feature a glass filled thermoplastic housing that provides increased strength and improved insulation resistance. The connectors are UL recognized, CSA certified, and meets the EN 60950-1 standard and IEC 60870-2-1 standard. The connectors feature a 2.0 mm mating pin diameter, a 2.5 mm panel cutout, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to + 85°C (-4°F to +185°F).

FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors are available in a variety of configurations, including 10A and 15A rated connectors, and offer both locking and non-locking versions. The FN261-10-06 is also compatible with the FN261 series of “Cut-out” inlet/outlet modules to accommodate four-point and two-point connection applications. The FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors feature a current rating of 10A (Locking) or 15A (Non-locking) and a voltage rating of 250V AC/DC.

The FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors consists of an inlet module and an outlet module. The inlet module is a two-pin connector with a male pin (hot side) and female housing (neutral side) that allows for connection to an electrical source. On the outlet module, an appropriate cable is connected to a corresponding male pin and female housing, allowing for connection to a device. The modules are secured and held in place when the locking collar is secured.

The FN261-10-06 Power Entry Connectors offers enhanced safety features to minimize risk of arcing and short-circuiting. The inlet module features a spring-loaded male pin that releases when the connector is unplugged, preventing accidental hot-side contact. The outlet module features a secondary spring-loaded contact that opens and shuts off the circuit when the plug is removed.
