Optoisolators are components that are specifically designed for isolating electrical energy signals between circuits or electronic systems in order to avoid electrical or galvanic noise and crosstalk. The FODM3011_NF098 is one of these optoisolator components. This particular device is part of the Triac, SCR Output family, which makes it ideal for performing power switching applications in industrial or commercial environments. The FODM3011_NF098 consists of two separate components – an input circuit and an output circuit. The input circuit is an LED phototransistor, while the output circuit is a TRIAC. The third mode, called the High Voltage Power with Negligible Turn-on Time (HVNT), is used when the voltage is higher than 240V and fast switching is required.
