FR1K-13 application field and working principle
The FR1K-13 Single Diode Rectifier, also known as a FR1K-13, is a true single-phase diode rectifier which is widely used in a variety of applications, including power supply units both for portable and stationary applications. The FR1K-13 incorporates a Zener diode element for improved temperature stability. The FR1K-13, when operated in a comfortable environment and within the appropriate design considerations, is capable of withstanding a surge current of up to 700 A.
Working Principles:
The operation of a single diode rectifier is based on the PN-junction diode\'s characteristics, which allows current to flow in one direction only. This is known as Rectification.
