Embedded - CPLDs (Complex Programmable Logic Devices) are a versatile class of integrated circuit chips which fulfill a range of tasks in a system. The ability to program and reprogram these devices to perform a range of functions makes them ideal for many applications. One of the most popular CPLDs is the GAL22V10D-7LJ, a high-performance Programmable Array Logic device from ATMEL. This device is used to realize the maximum amount of logical functions with the least amount of pins.
