The GBPAX-16 series of terminal blocks is an economical, easy-to-install solution for multiple applications. It provides for the power control and fault protection in a single, easy-to-install unit. The GBPAX-16 series is designed for utmost safety and convenience.

The GBPAX-16 terminal blocks feature sixteen to forty-six ports and are designed for 5.5 mm (2-18 AWG) wire and two to twenty-four conductors. The series is developed for various applications ranging from power switching to signal and telecommunication. The blocks are made from flame retardant nylon material and constructed with their contacts having a choice of fourteen sizes.

Application Field

The GBPAX-16 terminal blocks are suitable for both low voltage and medium voltage electrical applications in residential and industrial environments. Working Principle

The GBPAX-16 terminal blocks use the principle of spring-clamp technology. A pair of conductive strips are inserted into the block, which then creates a spring-clamp effect that firmly holds the conductor in place. As the block is tightened, the conductors are made more secure. This ensures that the conductor is firmly held in place and prevents it from being accidentally disconnected or shorting out.

The block also features a solid metal body and is constructed with a durable plastic housing which prevents moisture and dust from entering the connection point and ruining the insulation of the wire. The housing also features a recessed end that provides extra strain relief and increases the resistance of the connection point.

The terminal blocks are UL- and CUL-listed and are designed with safety in mind. The blocks feature a UV-protected terminal that prevents exposure to ultraviolet light sources and helps preserve the life of the block. The blocks are also designed with non-skid base for easy mounting and are designed to be completely enclosed.
