GNFAKI stands for “GaN Frequency Adaptable architecture for Key Infrastructures”, and is a research and development effort from the European Commission under the Ambient Assisted Living or AAL Joint Technology initiative, launched to promote and facilitate innovation and quality of life for elderly and disabled citizens. On the other hand, in Frequency Bifurcation mode, the GNFAKI divides the available frequency range into two sub-frequencies and then adapts them to the most suitable ones according to the environment and the hardware.
