GPMPC-RG

GPMPC-RG, or Global Pressure Measurement Product Certification Real-Time Gauge, is an advanced application field technology used to measure pressure within the range of -600KPag to 175MPag in real-time. It offers accurate temperature compensation and non-volatile data storage. GPMPC-RG application field includes automatic temperature control systems, air conditioning systems, brakes systems, air compressors, pumps, heating and cooling systems, and gas turbines.

The working principle of the GPMPC-RG is based on the Beckman circuit theory. The Beckman circuit theory suggests that the pressure difference between two points (A and B) can be measured using two capacitors of equal capacitance, and that when a capacitor is subjected to an electric field with a steady-state electric flux, its capacitance will remain constant. These two capacitors are connected together in a series and the first capacitor is filled with a gas. The pressure difference between the two capacitor plates can then be measured by connecting a wheatstone bridge between them. The output of the measured difference in pressure is then divided by the capacitance of the two capacitors to get the exact pressure value.

The GPMPC-RG works by connecting two capacitors with very low capacitances and one capacitor with higher capacitance value. The two lower capacitance capacitors are filled with gas and the higher capacitance capacitor is filled with air. The capacitance of the higher capacitance capacitor is then divided by the capacitance of the two lower capacitance capacitors to get the exact pressure measured. The output of the measured pressure is then further augmented by temperature compensation and displayed in real-time on the gauge.
