GS2D-LTP Application Field and Working Principle

GS2D-LTP (Light Trigger Parallel Switching Transistor) is an Advanced Semiconductor Transistor utilizing a unique light trigger parallel switching structure. It is a relatively new type of semiconductor switching device that has numerous applications.

Finally, the light-trigger mode is an advanced method of control where a unique light-source based trigger is used to activate the device instead of a traditional circuit.

The advanced switching behaviour of a GS2D-LTP is made possible due to its unique switch structure. The device has two symmetrically placed N-type transistors connected in parallel that both work simultaneously to switch the device, using the principle of Light Trigger Parallel Switching (LTPS). This switch structure makes the device more responsive and able to switch faster than more traditional FETs, plus it helps it achieve a lower forward resistance.
