GTK-12M-1.6

GTK-12M-1.6 is a variation of the GTK 12 model of vertical takeoff and landing jet multi-copter (VTOL MC). The VTOL MC is a multi-copter designed for reliable operation in a dynamic, often challenging environment without the need for aircraft-like control surfaces or active control systems.

The GTK-12M-1.6 has twelve electrically powered rotors mounted on a lightweight, fuel-efficient frame that provides steady lifts and easy movement of payloads such as surveillance cameras, precision instruments, and small payloads across long distances. The onboard flight control computer is pre-programmed for a variety of missions, including long range transportation, freight transport, aerial photography, and mapping.

This model has improved performance over the original GTK-12 due to the addition of a higher capacity battery, improved controller, and a higher thrust/weight ratio. The greater thrust/weight ratio allows for greater flight endurance and a higher payload capacity, while the improved motor control system makes the GTK-12M-1.6 easier to fly. The increased battery capacity allows for longer flight durations and enables the capacity to carry heavier payloads.

Distributed propulsion refers to the use of multiple, independently controlled rotors to provide lift.
