H3AXT-10104-N4 is an intelligent 5-in-1 joining solution for connecting power, signal, and safety devices, designed for quick and easy installation with a range of port sizes. It comprises a set of four pins; each of which is self-aligning, conductive, and supports the full range of junction box diameters greater than or equal to 4”. The H3AXT-10104-N4 is field-attachable and is equipped with an integrated junction box with splay-proof internal packaging and includes one integrated wire clamps which support four #10-12 AWG and four #14-16 AWG shielded cables. The integrated junction box allows up to two #10-12 AWG and four #14-16 AWG shielded cables to be connected to each other.

Working Principle

The H3AXT-10104-N4 is composed of a side spring, which ensures correct contact alignment, four pin terminals and four double-lipped thick plated conductive finger gaskets. The combination allows for a simple and quick connection that eliminates the need for lengthy splicing and soldering. The side spring is designed to self-align the terminal in the junction box and keep it in contact with the inner surface of the box. The double-lipped conductive finger gaskets provide superior conductivity for the current, while reducing the electrolytic degradation and galvanic corrosion around the connection. Additionally, the gaskets have anti-oxidant properties that provide a secure and long lasting connection.

The four pin terminals act as terminals, allowing up to four #10-12 AWG and four #14-16 AWG shielded cables to be connected to each other. The secure connection is provided by two conductive wire clamps that tightly grip the cables in place. The clamps are secured with two hex screws that can only be opened by an approved hex key.
