Through Hole Resistors, or commonly known as THR, is a type of resistor designed for use in electrical and electronic circuits. It is typically composed of an insulating substrate, a resistor body, and at least two mounting studs for attachment to a protective jacket. In some designs, the resistor body and mounting studs can be made of metal, while in others they may be composed of other materials such as ceramic or plastic.

THRs, which are also known as Fixed Value Resistors, are widely used in a range of applications. They are generally used for providing various levels of electrical resistance, from low to high. THRs are also found in electrical circuits that require very accurate adjustment of voltage or current levels.
