Reed Relays
Reed relays are usually semi-conducting devices built out of a permanent magnet and two contacts enclosed in a case or a sealed tube. The two contacts close on each other when the current is passed through the permanent magnet. Generally the reed relays are used for switching purposes. The HE721C2410 reed relay bears a type number T-R-1405-N. It is a double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) type reed relay used for switching applications of 24-V power. HE721C2410 Working Principle
The working principle of the HE721C2410 reed relay is based on a magnetically actuated switch. The reeds open and close depending on the current through the coil, and switch power is sent to the load.
