The HFA105NH60 diode is a single-phase silicon rectifier diode suitable for various power rectification applications. It is encapsulated in a molded plastic case as a discrete component with two electrically insulated leads for connecting to an external circuit. The silicon chip used in this rectifier is an NPN-type semiconductor with a hole-type PN junction. This junction forms an electric field which works to block the flow of current from one side to the other.
