Introduction

The HIN208ECAZA-T is a high-performance, low-power, monolithic CMOS non-inverting 3-driver and 3-receiver bus transceiver for driving applications such as high-speed, low-latency point-to-point serial links. It is designed to support data rates up to 10 Mbps and to reduce propagation delays due to the low-capacitance PERICOM patented homogeneous, device construction. Work Principle

HIN208ECAZA-T uses differential non-inverting 3-driver mode with separate transmit and receive data pins for driving three-wire bus system. The transmission line enables full-duplex data communication. The H in HIN208ECAZA-T stands for Homogenous, which refers to the low capacitance differential construction of the device which reduces propagation delay. The device is able to provide full-duplex 10 Mbps data communication at 3.3V supply voltage.The HIN208ECAZA-T is constructed with three identical but independent 3-driver and 3-receiver differential bus transceivers. Each channel consists of three differential driver outputs (TX1-3) and three differential receiver inputs (RX1-3). The output drivers can be enabled/disabled by the /OE pin connected to the receiver’s output. The receiver’s output is in high impedance state when /OE pin is in high logic state. It can be used in both point-to-point and multi-drop applications. The device can also be used for driving 3-wire open-collector type bus applications by connecting the /OE pin to the logic low level. The HIN208ECAZA-T can be used for applications in the automotive, consumer, industrial and communication systems.
