It also features a high temperature and environmental resistance and is certified by CMI to UL1386, UL789 and CSA C22.2. No. 158.1 standards.The HM13216LF also features a two-piece design, one piece for the contact and another for the mating connector. This allows the user to easily disassemble and reassemble the connector in the field and provides quick and easy access to the components. It is also equipped with a variety of board locks, including thumb screws, and there is an optional anti-tamper feature to protect the system from unauthorized access and tampering.

HM13216LF Working Principle

HM13216LF connectors use \'low insertion force\' (LIF) contacts, which provides a simple, single action insertion of the contact. The LIF contact is also designed to guarantee that each contact makes an independent electrical connection between the board-to-board connection and ensures a secure connection even in harsh environments.The Operating Principle of the HM13216LF is based on an LIF push button contact system. This contact system relies on mechanical force to achieve a secure electrical contact. The button on the contact is pushed through a hole in the top of the housing and compresses the contact springs.When the button is pushed against a pad on the printed circuit board (PCB), the LIF contact is pushed forward along the x-axis of the connector, allowing electrical connections to be made. As the connection is made, the contact is held in place, forming a secure contact between the two PCBs.The HM13216LF has been designed to meet the requirements for the most demanding environments and speeds. Its strong, wide-ranging features and reliable performance make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications including Data/Telecommunications, Computer, Industrial and Medical applications.
