The energy, in the form of electrical current flowing through the device’s windings, is converted to heat and stored within the ferrite cores. As the frequency of the current increases, the cores become less effective at absorbing energy and passed energy is increasingly suppressed.

HM67-S250LFTR13’s frequency dependent characteristics allow for effective operation in a wide range of common-mode applications, including but not limited to, data lines, CATV lines, multicore CATV power cords and multi-core audio wires. In addition, its narrowband design gives the device a high coupling coefficient, providing more effective dampening of common-mode noise than its broadband counterparts. Consequently, when combined with a ferrite based common mode filter, the HM67-S250LFTR13 provides an effective solution for common-mode interference.
