HMC705LP4 is an RF Misc ICs and Modules developed by Hittite Microwave Corporation. It provides a low power, wideband receiver-compatible, lossless power splitter/combiner. This device is suitable for multiple applications in the 1.8 GHz to 7.8 GHz frequency range, and is widely used in 5G base station signal transceivers and Remote Radio Heads (RRHs).

The new HMC705LP4 splitter/combiner incorporates a single transistor power amplifier, temperature compensated match, and broad frequency range. This compact design offers excellent interport isolation up to 110 dB, and low insertion loss of 0.6 dB. The power handling capability of the HMC705LP4 is up to 20 watts. It has a low current consumption of total package less than 200 mA, making it suitable for battery operated, low powered systems.

The HMC705LP4 also provides excellent interport isolation of 80 dB minimum. With a low insertion loss of 0.6 dB, the HMC705LP4 offers improved signal strength and better antenna array efficiency. This device features a wideband VSWR of less than 1.6:1 across its frequency range. Additional features include a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and a low input and output impedance of 50Ω.
