HPA00537PWPRG4 is an audio power amplifier IC developed by THE ONE IC. It is a four-channel integrated audio power amplifier IC integrated with a 3.0V to 5.5V single supply operation and a user-friendly interface. This IC enables low power dissipation and high efficiency for audio applications, such as speaker mobile devices, PC audio systems and audio/video multiplexers.HPA00537PWPRG4 offers two working modes, Class AB and Class G, for driving 4Ω or 8Ω speakers. The device supports different external components such as bypass capacitors, filters, resistors, supplying external bias, and enabling adjustable bass/treble boost. It has an integrated output stage, which includes complementary P-Channel and N-channel MOSFET transistors, combined and connected in parallel, so the power is divided between the channels.HPA00537PWPRG4 also provides a comprehensive system-level power management capability. An integrated power-on/off sequence allows for sequential power up and down. A thermal sensing system with temperature compensation protects the device from over-temperature operation. The device also offers active system state control, allowing for automatic power-down when the signal level approaches idle.The HPA00537PWPRG4 features an on-chip amplifier control circuitry designed for power, protection and thermal management. The amplifier control circuit provides direct drive for the gate inputs of the MOSFET transistors and open-loop gain control of the amplifier. The amplifier control enables an input signal independent response to the output stage performance, providing a stable gain control over the entire input signal range.The HPA00537PWPRG4 also offers two different control options, a UART programming interface for active control or software download, and a I2C control interface for remote power control, active state management, and shutdown state.
