The ICL7652CPD+ transistor amplifier is an instrumentation amplifier designed for accurate, low-noise measurements in high-impedance sensing applications. The ICL7652CPD+ is a linear amplifier with differential inputs and a single-ended output, making it suitable for measuring extremely tiny voltages in high-impedance circuit designs. The ICL7652CPD+ is based on the proven ICL7660CPA and ICL7660CPD “micropower” amplifiers, but with improved performance and expanded features.

The ICL7652CPD+ is designed to offer superior accuracy, stability, and repeatability in dynamic impedance sensing applications, as found in bridge sensors such as strain gauges, thermistors, and pressure transducers. The ICL7652CPD+ provides differential inputs that feature high input impedance of 1 megohm and ± 8-volt common-mode rejection. The differential input features a wide 2-volt common-mode range, and the single-ended output has a high linearity and low power consumption.

The ICL7652CPD+ is designed to provide high accuracy in a wide range of environments, from low-noise industrial control systems to harsh industrial or automotive environments. Its large common-mode rejection range allows it to reject signals outside of the common-mode range, so it can be used in a variety of high-impedance sensing applications, such as strain gauges, thermistors, and pressure transducers. It is also an ideal amplifier for high-gain applications, such as high-frequency signal conditioning.
