ICS542M is a clock/timing buffer device from IDT which offers a low-skew solution to clock distribution and fan-out at the board level. This device is used to prevent excessive propagation delay and generation of crosstalk in clock trees. Its use extends to source or sink multiple loads, driving clock signals at low levels to or from multiple devices, providing fan-out and/or fan-in.
