IFX25401TEVATMA1 is a low drop-out (LDO) voltage regulator device produced by Infineon Technologies. In the PWM mode, the device uses the same error amplifier to compare the input voltage to the reference voltage. The PWM signal is generated by a comparator between the error amplifier output and the reference voltage. The PWM signal is then used to control the gate voltage of the MOSFET. The duty cycle of the PWM signal is adjusted dynamically to maintain the output voltage stable at its reference value even when the input voltage is varied.
