The device also provides short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, over-current protection, and isolated over-temperature protection. Additionally, the IL017E features low-EMI design, low quiescent current, and low power consumption.The IL017E offers three modes of operation: feedback regulation, sustaining voltage regulation, and open loop voltage regulation. In feedback regulation mode, the device regulates the output voltage based on the feedback signal from the feedback network. In sustaining voltage regulation mode, the device regulates the output voltage based on the control parameter settings, which is a relatively fixed voltage level. Lastly, in open loop voltage regulation mode, the device regulates the output voltage based on the remote control command signals.The IL017E also features two different modes of output voltage control, static control and dynamic control. In static control, the output voltage is adjusted through the control circuitry, while in dynamic control, the output voltage can be adjusted through a remote control command.Furthermore, the IL017E is protected from over-temperature conditions, up to 125°C, and short-circuit conditions with its integrated over-temperature and over-current protections.
