It is widely used in the industry. It is mainly used for data communication, temperature measurement, isolation protection and signal isolation in power circuits.

Working Principle

IL3685VE digital isolator uses high-frequency float voltage technology to achieve high electrical isolation between input and output signals. With 8-channel output, which can be unidirectional or bidirectional, it can ensure safe transmission with low signal loss and strong signal isolation. Its working process can be divided into two parts: primary side and secondary side.

The primary side part converts the input signal into a high-frequency float voltage signal, then this signal is transferred to the input of the secondary side. The secondary side part first rectifies the high-frequency float voltage signal from the primary side, then converts it back to an output signal that is then sent to the output side. In the process, the isolation between input and output is up to 4000Vrms.
