Working Principle

In the INA126EA/2K5, the first stage is an ultra-low noise, high impedance buffer. This stage is a voltage follower with very low input bias current and low noise. It has a high output current drive capability to drive the second stage. The second stage is also an op-amp, which can have its gain adjusted by the SPAN pin. This pin samples the output of the buffer, and adjusts the gain to be exactly -Vout/Vin.
