Proximity Sensors

Proximity sensors are sensing devices used to detect or measure the distance of an object in an environment. They are applicable in many areas and can provide solution in difficult conditions or hazardous environments where human access are restricted. Proximity sensors can be further divided into two broad categories, namely inductive and capacitive.Inductive proximity sensors or inductive sensors detect metallic objects using a electromagnetic field.
