IQS624-300-DNR capacitive touch sensor IC is a self-capacitive touch technology single-chip solution.It is based on the patented SPREADTRUM Architecture.This IC uses only one layer of metal conductive sensing material, which can greatly reduce the consumption of material resources, simplify the complexity of the touch switch design and process, and realize full touch and waterproof functions.The IQS624-300-DNR uses a dual-mode toggling architecture, which is matched with a four-level loop measuring system and an improved threshold voltage to help achieve more stable, sensitive and high accuracy touch performance. Moreover,the IC is designed with self-cleaning, sensitivity boost , power-down and power-saving in sleep mode.

IQS624-300-DNR is mainly used in applications such as: point-and-click POS and touch enabled payment terminals, child protection interactive toys, wall switches and multipoint control, gaming consoles and dedicated gamepads, home automation and longline control, instrumentation and buttons.
Working principle
IQS624-300-DNR is based on spread spectrum architecture. The basic principle of the spread spectrum principle is that the combination of the dual-mode toggling architecture and four-level loop detected system can help reduce the effect of fluctuations in voltage, as well as self-cleaning, sensitivity boost, power-down and power-saving in sleep mode. The dual-mode toggling architecture works by generating a high-frequency sine wave signal,which is then compared with a reference voltage; the four-level loop detect system is used to detect the capacitance of the touch panel.The capacitance of the touch panel affects the frequency of the sine wave signal,and this information is used to analyse and determine whether there is a touch event.
The IQS624-300-DNR is also adapted with improved threshold voltage algorithm to achieve more stable, sensitive and accurate touch performance. Through the improved threshold voltage algorithm, the system can compare different sine wave signals to form a "threshold voltage line", so that the touch event can be accurately judged.The combination of these multiple functions helps to further enhance the accuracy and stability of the IC.
