The IRU1176CMTR is a quad low dropout linear regulator (DOR) intended for various voltage regulation and signal conditioning applications. It is specifically designed for use in embedded and small scale systems, where it can provide high power efficiency, low noise and excellent temperature stability. It has an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, and provides regulated outputs from 1.5V to 5.5V, with a typical dropout voltage of less than 1.2V. The IRU1176CMTR is engineered to be highly efficient and capable of providing up to 3.6A of load current per channel, while delivering very low output noise and excellent transient performance. Additionally, the device is equipped with an advanced current-limiting and over-temperature protection circuit that ensures the output voltage and current remains within the specified limits, while preventing damage to the component and system in the event of an overload or excessive temperature.
