Optical Sensors - Ambient Light, IR, UV Sensors
IS474 is a family of integrated ambient light, infrared and ultraviolet sensor solutions integrated into one system. They measure environmental parameters such as intensity, temperature, humidity, footprint and wind speed, making them ideal for applications where energy management is required. IS474 sensors are based on a highly accurate photoelectric effect principle, wherein the photocurrent signal is directly proportional to the amount of light in the environment. The signal is then converted by the sensor into a digital signal representing the ambient light level, which is then sent on to the processor for further processing.
Using the these sensors, data related to specific application environments can be collected, thereby enabling efficient operation for energy management and other related applications.
