Working Principle

The ISL28488EVAL1Z evaluation board features the ISL28488 operational amplifier. This operational amplifier is capable of providing a high-precision low-power performance, with a maximized total throughput of 1.2A and a total supply current of 5.5mA. The board is configured with the operational amplifier in a single-supply configuration to provide maximum flexibility in performance.The device uses a single-stage transconductance amplifier architecture that helps to provide a low input offset voltage and high precision. The amplifier operates in a rail-to-rail mode, and features an ultralow input bias current of 75pA. The architecture of the amplifier ensures high accuracy and stability with wide bandwidth and low harmonic distortion.The board has an open-loop gain of 70V/V and has very good linearity in the 0.3V - 4.2V input voltage range. The non-inverting-terminal response is faster than the inverting-input response with a voltage response time of 4.5 μs and a current response time of 1.5 μs.
