The ISL58303DRTZ is a high-performance integrated laser driver that packs a host of features in a 4.5mm x 6.4mm small form factor QFN package for laser diodes used in consumer, industrial, medical and defence/aerospace applications. Offering wide input voltage (2.7V to 10V) and very low quiescent current of 27.5μA, this driver can be used with a wide range of lasers, enabling it to be used in a variety of medical and consumer optics applications.

This device provides very high performance with a high output current drive capability of upto 1A. This makes it suitable for a wide array of laser diode applications including fibre-optic communications devices, light sources, laser measurement systems and laser diodes for printing and laser projection. The output voltage range is adjustable from 0V to the input voltage and it can be configured in 3 operating modes - Open Loop, Closed Loop, and Closed Loop with temperature regulation.
