The ISL59440IA-T13 is a single-channel, low voltage, high-gain frequency-compensated line driver with differential and single-ended outputs. The device is optimized for use with a 2.4GHz radio, WCDMA or Long Term Evolution (LTE) base station application. It is capable of driving up to two loads and has separate power supply for downstream gain and output drivers. The chip can drive signals up to 3.3V peak-to-peak and has a low typical noise-floor of -100dBm/Hz.

The ISL59440IA-T13 provides excellent differential gain and phase matching across all frequencies and wideband responses up to 85MHz. It achieves these excellent performance results by using a differential architecture with acquisition time of 10µs per gain step and the use of an integrated triple-resonator filter network to achieve frequency compensation.

The ISL59440IA-T13 features a programmable output current limit and soft start supply ramp which ensures a smooth transition and stable operation. It also features an adjustable input impedance allowing it to be used as a buffer and drive various loads. This device also includes a power-saving shutdown mode and can be configured for power-down stand-by mode when not in use.

The working principle of ISL59440IA-T13 is to amplify a differential input signal and adjust its magnitude and phase in order to drive a single-ended output. This is achieved by a triple-resonator filter network with adjustable components and optional bypass switch.
