ISL6506ACB-T is a power supply controller designed for use in automotive applications, providing an integrated solution for DC/DC converters and monitor supervisors for load current, output voltage, and battery voltage monitoring. This device operates from an input voltage range of 2V to 28V, and offers an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8V and 6V. For over-current condition, fold-back current limit and hiccup current limit are provided, with the fold-back current limit automatically reset at each cycle. For over-voltage protection, fold-back over-voltage protection and hiccup over-voltage protection are provided, with the fold-back over-voltage protection automatically reset at each cycle.

The device also features a wide temperature-compensated voltage reference with an accuracy of +/-1 % over the operating temperature range, providing improved accuracy and stability in a wide range of automotive applications. The ISL6506ACB-T also includes an integrated EMI filter with user-adjustable EMI filter cutoff frequency and adjustable logic thresholds.
