The ISL78211ARZ Special Purpose voltage regulator is an all-in-one power management solution for mobile and computing applications that require PowerBus supply voltage and current monitoring, independent power supply, ultracapacitor charge/discharge, system and LED output adjustment and selectable thermal regulation. The ISL78211ARZ devices are dual, constant current/voltage buck and boost regulators with key features including wide input voltage range from 2.5V to 10V and output voltage range from 0.5V to 20V. The devices can be configured as one buck or one boost regulator or as buck and boost with LED backlight driver and ultracapacitor charge/discharge.
